The eye behind the camera

Praveen K Bangarri was born and brought up in Hyderabad in Telangana, India. For an early age he showed interest in cinema, especially behind the camera. His passion for cinema took him to SV College of Fine Arts, where is graduated in Photography. Then he joined Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata to pursue his PG in cinematography, which he completed in 2008.

Along with helming the camera for several critically acclaimed feature films and short films, Praveen k Bangarri also held the megaphone for an insightful documentary, Savvadi – The sound of dance, which was showcased in several film festivals, His work took him to many places including Asian film academy 2007 HD workshop (South Korea) where legendary film directors and cinematographers from world over appreciated his passion.

Praveen k Bangarri is a much-sought-after cinematographer for several ad film makers, short film makers, documentary film makers, regional and national feature film makers across the country.
